Resin for System Water Conditioning
Xi+ is eleXion’s pH-regulated mixed bed ion exchange resin, designed to condition fill water, make-up water and existing circulating water in closed-loop heating and cooling systems.
Used within eleXion’s ioniX filling and conditioning units, Xi+ removes minerals and salts from the water while helping support pH at point of fill. This helps create low-conductivity, low-hardness system water from the outset.
Unlike standard resins, Xi+ has been developed specifically for closed-loop heating and cooling systems. It can also be used for inline recirculation, allowing existing system water to pass through the resin on a side stream basis to gradually condition and improve water quality.
Xi+ supports water treatment in accordance with VDI 2035 and VDI 6044 principles, alongside wider European water treatment guidance including SWKI BT 102-01 and ÖNORM H 5195-1.
